Out of my mind...

Yesterday Joshua and I were stuck inside because of WEATHER...

I know, WELCOME back to INDIANA!!!! Yesterday was the first real bad day of winter. The wind was blowing so loud and hard Joshua kept asking me "What is that, Mommy." We woke up with no snow on the ground and now there is snow and ice everywhere. The roads are terrible...

People forget how to drive in this kind of weather so it is real risky to go out and go anywhere.

Today Joshua and I HAD to get out... We both were about to loose our minds. So we ventured over to Monkey Joe's, a bounce house place. Joshua LOVED it!!! He did not stop moving for 2 hours. I think this is my favorite place in the area because Joshua was able to do almost everything on his own - and he was sooooo proud that he could do it himself. He made SEVERAL friends while there and was so upset that we had to go.

I am still looking for more things for Joshua to do. With winter coming I need to find Joshua activities, otherwise we both will go crazy!

Micah update:
I am officially ready for him to be here. I am not complaining but I am just at the point where my entire body aches. Adam is adjusting me regularly which helps. I am still struggling to sleep at night, which makes days interesting. Yesterday was the first time I felt Micah have hiccups. When I was pregnant with Joshua, he had them all the time, so it was weird to feel them this late and only for a little bit.

My hiatal hernia is getting better. Adam adjusts it and I also adjust it everyday. It is still a problem but it is not as severe as it was a few weeks back.

My maternity clothes are becoming small... jeans really aren't comfortable and when I can I wear Adam's PJ's! Shirts are becoming short you know belly hanging out the bottom!!!! :) What a sight! Poor Adam - I am not sure if he knew #2 was going to start out this way... I rarely get dressed and often look like I fell off a truck - well that is also at the end of the day when I am completely WIPED.

The family picture was taken last Friday so maybe we will take another belly shot tomorrow... Since I feel bigger every single day! :)

Christmas Family Pictures

Adam and I started the tradition of getting a family portrait taken each Christmas.

As you know - We are HUGE fans of Portrait Innovations!!!! This past Friday Adam, Joshua and I went and bought the $9.99 package and one other pose... THIS IS HUGE for us because we always love going and getting a ton of pictures.

The other pose we used for our Christmas pictures so you will have to wait and see it later.

Happy Birthday to ME!

I am really not sure how much more my belly can grow. Everyday life is getting harder and harder! I have to use a chair to put on my socks and shoes. Joshua tries to help with my socks! He is such a good helper.

Sleeping is one of the hardest things for me to do. I can not get comfortable and when I do get comfortable I either have to go potty or Joshua is up and needs me.

It is getting cold here!!!! Which is in my favor because I am finally able to cool down a bit.

My clothes are starting to get too small. I am no longer comfortable in jeans. Comfy pants will do! :) Luckily I have a few LONGER shirts that will get me by until Micah's big arrival.

Tis the season

Adam and I went back and forth several times about putting up our Christmas tree this year. My sweet Adam was concerned about how I was going to put the tree up after Christmas with the chance that Micah is here. So as of Saturday morning we were not going to put up the tree but on our way home from John and Debi's we decided again that we would put up a tree because Joshua saw all the lights and LOVED it!

So we much debate and back and forth we put our tree up last night. Joshua LOVES it! We let him help put the lights on, put some ornaments on the tree and help with the tree skirt. He was really into it! I am glad that we decided to put it up because this morning Joshua ran out and said "Mommy my tristmas tree"

Here are my boys working on the tree

Also, this year we started the Elf on the Shelf tradition.
This year, Joshua named him Lelf the Elf.

Lelf stays at our house during the day and reports back to Santa every night on how Joshua is acting. He stays our during the Holiday season and then goes back to the North Pole until the next Christmas.

Here Adam is reading Joshua the book that Lelf wrote with his directions.

And here is Joshua hamming it up for the camera.
